We’re building a News DAO, the first of its kind on Base. Here’s the plan.
A Tokenised Platform
We will issue a token for News on Base, called $NEWS. This will be airdropped to users of the $BASE ecosystem.
Governance
The token will be used to steer the governance of the platform, decision making with the ultimate goal of electing a leader to run the organisation.
Advertising
Projects will be able to acquire $NEWS and stake it for benefits on the platform, such as higher ranking of their project in search and other visibility improvements.
